Jordan Clarkson stands out as a fashion icon in the world of sports. He recently exhibited his exceptional taste during New York Fashion Week, where he donned a massive striped rugby jumper from Tommy Hilfiger while standing beside the renowned designer. He made a grand entrance at the hotel wearing a Canadian tuxedo designed by Balenciaga’s Demna, complemented with a striking crucifix pendant crafted by the emerging jeweler Alex Moss. At the Harper’s Bazaar Global Icons Portfolio and Bloomingdale’s 150th Anniversary party, he sported a sleeveless gray tweed suit jacket and skirt, courtesy of Thom Browne.
It’s no shocker to spot a celebrity such as Clarkson sporting outfits from these particular fashion designers. However, one of the more recent partnerships the Jazz luminary has entered into within the fashion realm might catch you off guard. Lululemon’s latest advertising campaign features Clarkson.
In the “Your Move” ad campaign, Clarkson models a range of Lululemon products, including neon yellow Pace Breaker shorts for workouts and tan trench coats for more casual occasions. Despite his recent involvement with Ye’s Yeezy SHDZ campaign, Clarkson is optimistic about Lululemon’s future and believes they are taking the brand to new heights. Clarkson particularly loves the Parkway Insulated Coat that he wore during the photo shoot and considers it his favorite piece. As one of the NBA’s most stylish players, Clarkson’s endorsement could greatly benefit Lululemon. When asked if he was really the best-dressed player, Clarkson acknowledged that everyone has their own style but confidently declared himself as the best.
Clarkson is gearing up for his tenth NBA season and is preparing to face obstacles both on and off the court. With Rudy Gobert no longer playing for the Utah Jazz, Clarkson and his team are facing new challenges. There has also been talk about Clarkson being traded, but he remains committed to winning with whichever team he plays for. In his own words, “I’m prepared for anything.” One player once told him that they would be willing to put on any jersey to win and take their team to the next level, with the ultimate goal of becoming champions one day.
Find out what Clarkson thinks of Utah Jazz’s offseason changes, the NBA fashion scene, and more as you continue reading. We’ve condensed and edited the interview for better readability. Can you talk about your partnership with Lululemon? Why do you think they’re the perfect fit for your current venture? My relationship with Lululemon came about organically. I had faith in their innovative concept from the get-go. They are consistently pushing the envelope and elevating their brand in every aspect. Whether it’s trends or workouts, they continue to improve and stay relevant.
