Bryce James, the son of LeBron James, was recently seen at Ohio State University during an unofficial visit. The 16-year-old is currently attending Notre Dame High School in California but is considering where he will play college basketball after graduating in 2025. While at Ohio State, James watched the Buckeyes defeat Maryland and was seen in pictures with highly-touted point guard Dezhon Hall. They even spoke to Ohio State’s men’s basketball coach, Chris Holtmann, at the football game. James was thrilled to receive an offer from the Buckeyes’ basketball team and feels blessed about it. He is a six-foot-six small forward with a four-star rating by ESPN. Previously, he had attended Sierra Canyon School and Campbell Hall School before transferring to Notre Dame High School.
On a Saturday, Bronny James (C), who is expected to finish high school by 2025, made a visit to Ohio State University.
During his visit, James was joined by the promising Class of 2026 talent, Dezhon Hall (who has received significant recognition).
Over the summer, James (L) made a switch to a different high school located in Sherman Oaks, a suburb in Los Angeles. Bryce Maximus had a decent run in the Strive For Greatness grassroots program on the Nike EYBL 16U circuit last spring and summer, averaging 7.6 points in 15 games. Recently, he visited Ohio State University, following his father LeBron’s tour of the campus during the Buckeyes’ victory over Notre Dame in September 2022. Bronny also considered playing for Ohio State before ultimately committing to the University of Southern California (USC) earlier this year. Unfortunately, the eldest James brother suffered cardiac arrest during a team workout in July.
James and Hall documented their experiences together at Ohio State University by posting videos on social media.
Bryce’s recent visit to Ohio State happened about a year after his older sibling, Bronny, checked out the university.
Bryce, the youngest child of LeBron and Savannah, has an older brother named Bronny who suffered a cardiac arrest in July but is recovering well and hoping to play for USC later this year. LeBron recently shared that his son is doing great in his rehabilitation and has hopes of playing for the Spartans this season. At 38 years old and entering his 21st NBA season, LeBron is now considered the elder statesman of the league. He shares that distinction with other veteran players like P.J. Tucker and Chris Paul, both of whom are also 38 years old, although slightly younger than James. Impressively, last season “The King” averaged almost 29 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists per game in 55 games played for the Lakers. During the playoffs, he maintained a strong performance with an average of 24.5 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game while leading the Lakers to the Eastern Conference Finals.
